It is with great pleasure that I introduce to you our new Junior Manager at Upton Rugby Club, Steve Avery.

What sets Steve apart is his extensive background as a player at Upton Rugby Club. His familiarity with the club, its values and the tight-knit community that surrounds it, will undoubtedly serve as a solid foundation for his new responsibilities. Steve’s experience as a player has given him a deep understanding of the game and the dynamics of being part of a team.

Not only does Steve bring his expertise as a player, but he also actively coaches the U13s squad. It is evident that his passion for the sport extends beyond his personal experience on the field. Steve’s commitment to coaching and developing young players is truly inspiring. His dedication to guiding the U13s team, including his own son Charlie, showcases his unwavering support for their growth as rugby players and individuals.

With Steve as our Junior Manager, we can expect a wealth of knowledge, motivation and guidance to be passed on to our young players. His presence will undoubtedly create a positive and nurturing environment, where our junior members can flourish both on and off the field.

As we embark on this new chapter together, please know that the club stands firmly behind you, ready to support you in any way possible. We are confident that with your leadership, our junior division will thrive, and our young platers will reach new heights.
