Bromyard 7’s – U16’s, Sun 2nd April 2023
Upton U16s were invited to participate in a 7’s tournament at Bromyard RFC.
The tournament consisted of 5 teams (a maximum squad size of 12 per team) with all teams playing 8 games of 14 minutes duration (7 mins each half).
Despite the heavy pitch conditions, all teams seemed to enjoy the 7s experience!
Upton U16s put in some excellent performances, finishing second overall – with a record of 6 wins and 2 narrow losses to eventual winners Alcester.
The scores were:
Bromyard 0 – 53 Upton
Alcester 19 – 14 Upton
Ledbury: 0- 33 Upton
Evesham: 12- 35 Upton
Bromyard: 5-35 Upton
Alcester: 17 – 12 Upton
Ledbury: 0 – 31 Upton
Evesham: 0 – 31 Upton
